- Where I live My name is Girard-Gary Ross Gillett, I'm a 36yr. old Non-Traditional Off-Campus Commuter College Student. I’m starting my 5th Semester as a Teaching Assistant and Lab Instructor for the CIS/IT Department’s CITA 120 Computer Concepts and Operating Systems Class and my 8th Semester at SUNY College Of Technology At Canton in a CIS/IT – Computer Information Systems/Information Technology 1+1,2+2 Certificate and Degree Program. I’ve finished my 1yr. Business Office Technology Certificate, and 1yr. PC Repair and Network Service and Support Technician Certificate. Right now I’m finishing the combining of the two 1yr. Certificates (1+1) into a 2yr. CIS Associates in Applied Science Degree. Next I’ll take my 1st 2yr. Associates Degree and combine it with a 2nd 2yr. Associates Degree (2+2) creating a 4yr. CIS/IT Bachelor in Applied Technology Degree. Finally I’ll complete 2 more year’s of study to obtain my MIT – Masters In Information Technology Degree. I live in the little town of Rensselaer Falls in St.Lawrence County, Northern New York about 20 miles from the US/Canada border with my Super Cute 3 year old Son Gary and 17 month old Daughter Angel. My now ex fiancé moved out and signed over custody and placement of Gary and Angel to me on March 15, 2008.
